Position Overview

We are seeking for a dynamic and results-oriented Business Development Manager to lead the expansion and growth of our Spot-MAS product, with a primary focus on Singapore market. This role is crucial in driving market penetration, establishing and maintaining strategic partnerships, and ensuring the successful adoption of our innovative cancer detection solutions in Singapore and beyond.

Key Responsibilities

  • Market Expansion: Identify and develop new market opportunities for Spot-MAS in Singapore, with a focus on establishing a strong market presence and increasing market share.
  • Strategic Partnerships: Establish and nurture strategic partnerships with healthcare providers, diagnostic centers, and key stakeholders in Singapore to enhance product distribution and adoption.
  • Sales & Revenue Growth: Develop and execute sales strategies to achieve revenue targets, ensuring the long-term success and profitability of Spot-MAS in the Singapore market.
  • Market Analysis and Strategy: Conduct thorough market research and analysis to understand customer needs, competitor activities, and industry trends in Singapore, translating insights into actionable business strategies. Collaborate with the marketing and product teams to effectively position Spot-MAS in the Singapore market, tailoring messaging and strategies to local needs.
  • Regulatory Compliance: Ensure that all business development activities comply with Singapore’s regulatory requirements and ethical standards in the biotech and healthcare industries.
  • Cross-functional Collaboration: Work closely with internal teams, including R&D, marketing, and operations, to build-up the local business operation workflow.
  • Reporting & Forecasting: Provide regular reports on business development activities, market conditions, and sales forecasts to senior management.

Qualifications

  • Education: Bachelor’s degree in business administration, biotechnology, life sciences, or a related field. An MBA is preferred.
  • Experience: At least 5-7 years of experience in business development, sales, or a related role within the biotech or healthcare industry.
  • Preferred: Experience in the field of Genomics and molecular diagnostics.

Skills:

  • Proven track record of driving sales growth and market expansion in a competitive environment.
  • Strong negotiation and relationship-building skills.
  • Ability to analyze complex data and market trends to inform business decisions.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills.
  • Knowledge of the Singapore healthcare market is highly desirable.
  • Language: Proficiency in English is required; proficiency in Cantonese or Mandarin is a plus.
